Advocacy

"I am a member of Alliance because it provides a strong voice for people with developmental disabilities and their families in the state and in public policy." - Anita Pisciotte, Executive Director, Mesa Developmental Services

Alliance represents the interests of people with developmental disabilities and their families by providing its members with an experienced and dedicated voice for CCBs and SPOs at the State Capitol.

Policy Development

"I have been a CCB Director for 28 years and an Alliance member the whole time. Being a member of Alliance allows me to impact the direction of services for persons with Developmental Disabilities in Colorado." - Roger G. Jensen, Executive Director, Starpoint

Our members have the opportunity to make a difference by shaping policy and networking with other member organizations to effect changes within our Community Centered System. Organizations collectively develop new legislative policy, make changes to existing policy, and discuss issues with colleagues from throughout the state.

Networking and Collaboration

"Imagine! is a member of Alliance because we believe that by working together across the State of Colorado, we can help set a positive direction for services of the future and ensure the best possible quality of supports in our State." - John M. Taylor,  Ph.D., CEO/Executive Director, Imagine!

Alliance members share experiences, discuss issues, share best practices, develop ideas, and engage in problem solving with other members across Colorado - working as a group and learning together.

Technical Assistance

Our staff is available to answer any questions or to research issues for our members. In addition, members with similar questions or services can come together to share solutions and answers.
