"The PPP expands the typical definition of who is eligible for these SBA loans to any business concern, nonprofit organization, veterans’ organization or Tribal business concern if they employ not more than the greater of (a) 500 employees; or (b) if applicable, the size standard for the business’s industry. The PPP specifically provides that individuals who operate under a sole proprietorship or as an independent contractor and eligible self-employed individuals may be eligible under the PPP, even though they are not eligible for a traditional SBA loan. Unlike a previous version of the bill, the enacted version of the CARES Act does not exclude non-profits that receive Medicaid reimbursements from eligibility.” Source: https://www.vorys.com/publications-2558.html

Please Note: You have to apply for PPP through an accredited SBA 7a lender, so you might want to check with your lender first to see if they are one. (Most large banks are 7a lenders)

Colorado PPE Requests Protocol:
-
Contact your local public health department
-
You need to submit a very detailed request: number/type of masks, gloves, gowns, etc. It is the only way to unlock state resources.
-
If you are getting low on PPE, you should make a request. The state monitors the requests to know how much PPE is needed.
-
If you are a multi-county provider, you can reach out to CDPS_CHOPS@state.co.us. Local requests are preferred.
-
If you submitted a request and did not receive needed PPE, proceed to step #2.
-
-
To report issues in obtaining PPE please notify Sadie Martinez, Access and Functional Needs Coordinator, Office of Emergency Management, CDPHE 720.610.1692 sadie.martinez@state.co.us
-
If you still need PPE, proceed to step #4.
-
-
CCBs/PASAs: After reaching out to the state/local resources, are you experiencing a PPE emergency? If so, let us know at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/88HDSYJ
